Sats are real
A sat (satoshi) is a small unit of Bitcoin. Ingame coins, sat voxels, Satoshi Chests, Tips payments, the faucet, and LNBits balances are all sats — not fake points. They have real value. Treat other players’ sats the way you would treat cash on the table.
How you pay explains ingame balance, LNBits, and your own wallet.
Play the game as it is meant to be played
LightningBlocks is a multiplayer game. What you do might affect other players.
This is allowed:
- Exploring, building, and breaking blocks in the shared world
- Finding coins, sat voxels, or Satoshi Chests that other players hid — that is part of the game.
- Paying Lightning invoices, using /Tips Page, or throwing items to other players
- Using the /Faucet within the limits on that page
If you can reach it by walking, digging, crafting, paying, or looking — that is ok.
No cheats, no bugs for money
This is forbidden:
- Cheating, hacks, modified clients, or scripts that play the game for you
- Abusing glitches, dupes, or unintended game behaviour
- Using bugs — or anything like a bug, exploit, or unintended path — to gain access to other people’s money. That includes their ingame sats, LNBits wallet, chests, invoices, or any other balance that is not yours
If a bug would let you take sats you did not earn in normal play, do not use it. Tell us on /contact instead.
Keep the world playable
Modifying the world is OK as long as it stays playable for others. Do not change the world in a way that stops other people from playing.
Aggressive destroying of land without building anything useful is forbidden.
Destroying other people’s buildings only to harm them is not wanted. It is not completely forbidden. To protect a build, buy the land in the game.
Buildings that display abusive or criminal things are forbidden.
Unwanted changes that are clearly abusive or against fair play might get rolled back.
Chat
Use chat in good faith. Do not spam. Do not say abusive things. The same applies for messages from the /tips site that other players will see.
Accounts and the server
Keep your password to yourself. There is no password reset. If you play as a guest and close the window, guest sats can be lost.
Do not impersonate other players. Do not try to break into someone else’s account. Do not attack the site, the game server, or the Lightning node.
