What this is
Lightning-Fun hosts browser games that can use Bitcoin over the Lightning Network. An account is optional. Contact is /contact and @lightning_fun.
This project is in alpha state
LightningBlocks is in alpha. Features will get added, changed, or removed on short notice. Bugs, downtime, and data loss are expected.
The world generation is only a first draft. A world change or a full server reset can wipe buildings, land claims, inventory, and anything left in the world. Treat land and world progress as temporary.
Before a full wipe we try to return sats that are still in the world. Satoshi Chests, coins on the ground, and placed sat voxels are tracked with an owner name. If the owner is a logged-in account, we credit those sats to that player’s wallet. Guest-owned items are not refunded. Tracking can miss something, so this is not a guarantee — withdraw if you want the sats safe.
Sats spent on land, Tips, or store actions during alpha are not a promise those things will last. We do not restore lost buildings or refund those spent sats because of an alpha change or reset.
Sats we hold for you
Ingame balance and the account LNBits wallet are custodial: we hold the keys. We are not a bank. We do not guarantee that custodial sats will always be there or that you can always withdraw them on demand.
Keep only a small amount on the site. Withdraw to a wallet you control when you are done playing. How you pay explains the three payment layers and how to withdraw.
The site, the game server, or the Lightning node can go down. Bugs, outages, or node problems can delay or block a withdraw. Lightning payments can also fail because of routing. We are not responsible for those failures.
Playing as a guest
If you play without an account and you close the browser window, guest sats and guest progress can be lost. Create an account if you want progress and a wallet saved.
Accounts
You pick a username and password. We do not use email to log in, and there is no password reset. If you lose them, the account cannot be recovered. Keep the password to yourself.
Faucet
The Lightning Faucet is an optional gift of free sats. You are not entitled to it. We can change the amount, the limits, or turn it off at any time.
Play fair
Cheating and abusing glitches is forbidden. Play the games as they are meant to be played. Sats are real Bitcoin. Using bugs — or anything like a bug — to take other people’s money is forbidden.
The house rules are on How to behave.
Buildings and land
Buildings that break the house rules might get rolled back. Unwanted world changes that are clearly abusive or against fair play might get rolled back too.
The site can change
We can change features, take the site down, or update these terms. Using the site after a change means you accept the new page.
